Overview

PENTREAT™ 244-40 is a penetrating silane sealer designed to help protect concrete and masonry surfaces from water and salt intrusion. It absorbs into the substrate rather than forming a surface film, allowing the material to breathe while limiting water absorption. This makes it useful in areas exposed to de-icing chemicals, freeze/thaw cycles, and routine moisture contact. Common uses include parking structures, driveways, sidewalks, bridge decks, plazas, stadiums, and other above-grade concrete or masonry surfaces. By reducing the amount of water and salt that can enter the surface, PENTREAT 244-40 helps maintain long-term durability and appearance with little to no change in surface look after application.
