Surface Preparation: Concrete or masonry
surface (interior or exterior) must be clean and
free of all dust, grease and other foreign
material. Saturate the area with water
thoroughly; remove any standing water prior to
the application of sacking mix.
Mixing: Please use the chart below to mix to
your desired consistency. Do not exceed 5.4
liters per bag. When using as a skim coat use
900X with water at a 3:1 ratio (3 parts water 1
part 900X).
Consistency % of Water Water/22.7kg
Dry Pack 15% - 18% 3.4 - 4.1 liters
Plastic 19% - 20% 4.3 - 4.5 liters
Slurry 23% 5.2 liters
Application: Fill air holes and imperfections
having maximum depth of approximately ?”
using a rubber float, burlap sack or blue
Styrofoam block. Use wrist motion to pack
mortar into the small holes leaving the treated
surface smooth and flush with the adjacent
surface. To smooth out walls for painting,
apply dry Sacking Mortar to a burlap sack and
use wrist action to completely finish surface.
Ensure surface remains damp during
application for best results. All excess material
must be removed from the wall.
Test Results: Test reports, evaluation and
Material Safety Data Sheet are available on
request.
Bucket Life: Approximately 1½ to 2 hours
depending on temperature and humidity.
Curing Time: Depending on humidity and
temperature, usually 2 to 4 hours. Sacking
Mortar is ready for painting after 10 days of
curing.
